I was so excited for Logan’s newborn photo session! His family has been coming to me from the very beginning. In fact, his sister was one of my very first newborns, so it was fun to see her now as a big sister! Logan had some of the cutest facial expressions and was happiest baby when he was all swaddled up. Here are a few of my favorites photos from his session!

Ian’s dad contacted me to schedule a one year photo session for Ian as a surprise for his wife for Mother’s Day…does he win husband of the year or what?! I really enjoyed getting to know this sweet family of three. Like all toddlers, Ian was full of energy and curiosity and I think we captured that perfectly with these photos!

I had been looking forward to Avery’s newborn photo session for quite some time, since his mama contacted me to sign him up for my Watch Me Grow program early in her pregnancy. He was just as handsome as can be, and his super cute big brother came along for a few pictures as well. I got the feeling these two are going to be best buddies!

This session was something a little different from my typical studio newborn photography. When preparing for the birth of my newest niece this summer, my sister-in-law was interested in what is typically known in the photography world as a Fresh 48 session – newborn pictures taken in the hospital setting within the first two days of a baby’s life.
I had so much fun documenting all of the little details, and there is definitely something amazing about capturing this special time! Fresh 48 sessions will now be offered in addition to my regular studio newborn sessions. Contact katie@katiegarber.com if you are interested in learning more!
